Wednesday. Washington D.C.


Washington D.C. is a nice city - 'nice' being the key word. Los Angeles has Hollywood; Paris is, well, Paris; Rome has the Colosseum and its history; and Washington D.C. is simply very plain. The monuments are good to see once. The Holocaust Museum was impressive. Nothing I'd go back to see again. It doesn't have anything spectacular about it. Georgetown was enjoyable. It's in a relatively affluent area of the city, and makes for a good walk. I could see myself studying there. In short, it's a place I'd cross off my "Been there, done that" list.
